I think that the calibre of guest speakers was incredible considering the cost of the programme. I was also very impressed by the 'family' vibe that was created, and I credit Junior as being the mastermind behind this. Not only were the monthly events of huge value, but throughout the year many other 'popup' unannounced events took place which were also excellent. AMAZING programme, so happy to be part of it and please let me know what I can do to help promote the future or EAL :)
I signed up with the EAL in January 2007 primarily because I wanted to access and learn from experienced people in business. I'm a psychologist & stress coach and I learnt my core trade at university but we were not taught how to market our skills or how to start private practices or businesses. So, when I was ready to take the step to start my coaching business 'The Wellbeing Pod', I knew I needed more insights and pathways on how to make this successful. Yes, I read a book (Starting a Business - For Dummies) which was informative but this didn't show me how to do it! I realised what I needed was to hear the voices and experiences of others who had gone through the starting-running- failing- starting again - roller-coaster ride. So, when the opportunity to enrol with EAL for a 6-month business programme come up, I jumped at it! It had the three core things I wanted: 1. Practical business support such as Business strategy coaching with Junior 2. Regular networking with the same cohort to foster trust and good working relationships. 3. And the 'piece de resistance' - Monthly Masterclasses with experienced business entrepreneurs such as James Caan, Ash Ari & Richard Woods. During this 6-month EAL programme, I learnt loads!! But the main things were: - formulating my business model - identifying who my ideal clients were - marketing my services - what to spend money on and what's not necessary. The tangible results for me since joining EAL: - I got new high-paying clients! - I now have a website! (well, a landing page - learnt I didn't need a full website yet!) - I pitched my business for the very first time! - My entrepreneurial juices are flowing as I consider other business ideas.. - I now have a close network of great colleagues and future potentials business partners. - I am now part of a network. An EAL network. #EAL The future is bright for me. I am no longer afraid. I can face my business future head on! I am #ProudlyEAL
EAL is the best value Business academy on the planet! It was amazing to meet some of my personal icons. Richard Woods, Brad Burton, Ash Ali, James Caan and many others were all outstanding. Recounting their personal journeys and revealing the secrets of their successes (and failures) that put them at the top of the tree today. Junior Ogunyemi has put together a formula that is unique in the country. It delivers true insight into what it takes to be an entrepreneur! He makes sure he is available to offer advice and help overcome the many obstacles in your business life. Personally I have gained many valuable strategies to push my own brand forward.
It sounded too good to be true, but they delivered on everything that was offered and then some more. Very good advisers, some of the best advice I have ever received.
The whole experience was excellent from the sign up stage - mentoring sessions, monthly meetings, networking opportunities and closure. Learnt so much! All tangible action points and outcomes. Highly recommended!!
